DIY | COATRACK

This DIY look´s simple and it is! Only hard thing is to find that perfect angle where the coat rack is steady. And then you will have to glue or s all the pieces together. You will need wooden sticks and three copper angle pieces. How long are the wooden sticks, depends what size of rack you are doing. The wood I used was 28mm thick and the copper pipes were the same size. This rack is perfect for those beautiful clothes that you want to see all the time but for heavy jackets and kids clothes i recommend that you do something else:) Have fun!

  9. Oi, ihana! Sain tänään käsiini upean kirjanne, ja vaikka osasin odottaa hyvää kaiken hehkutuksen perusteella, niin silti yllätyin positiviisesti. Tämä rekki on ihana, sopisi tällaiseen vähän pienempään asuntoon.

Wow nice cloting rack! I think the best cloting racks are the ones with wheels on them. I`ve got a realy small bedroom so it`s important that i can easily change the layout in a easy way. And another pro is if it`s white...for very stylish and clean looks.

  33. Beautiful rack, thank you for sharing, I really fell in love with it. My guy and me tried to build it yesterday and we have to say - for us, it doesn't work. It just doesn't make any sense to have something in our home, we cannot use properly. Yes we could hang some light shirts or blouses on it, somehow, hoping the rack will not tilt over when we for example open the window and it will just fall because of a little breeze. Won't make sense for us :-(

So we had the wooden sticks and three copper pipes (all the same size, about the same the wooden stick is on the floor) and used them together with the two long wooden sticks and additional 2 copper angle pieces, to create a more stable rack. Photos with a tutorial will be online soon on the blog I linked (it's not my own), if you are interested to check it out.
Thank you for sharing your rack, it looks ABSOLUTELY beautiful and your photos are great. <3
